Doctor is the Cyborg AU ♡ version of Xiphoid. This is an idealized version of Xiph, based on how Xiphoid sees themself. Could be considered a Mary Sue^↗.

Profile

Appearance

Doctor is a dark-skinned humanoid with long blue hair similar to dreadlocks. Like all cyborgs, xe has a small "gem" on their chest called a core. Doc's is blue and diamond-shaped. Xe is extremely tall, close to 7ft, with a slender feminine frame and small breasts. Their joints are marked by blue seams, and their skin looks darker in some sections. Doc has blue diamond-shaped pupils, and xe always wears large round glasses. The glasses are canonically magnetically attatched to xer nose, so they don't have arms and are hard to knock off. Doc has long, elf-like ears, with some simple silver piercings. Xer teeth are sharp and xer tongue is forked with a silver ball piercing. They also have a large tail, comparable to a snake's tail, just past the length of their legs.

Doc has translucent blue sections in their torso and tail, which are squishy but durable. The texture is similar to an exercise ball. Through it, Doctor's organs, wires, and bones are visible. Doc has no stomach or intestines, as they have no need to eat. Doc also has robotic hands, with long fingers and blue claw-like nails. These hands are made of a dark metal, similar to their skeleton and the "collar" around their neck.

Doc generally wears feminine clothing, with a simple, modern goth aesthetic. They also almost always wear cropped shirts, to show off their clear midsection. Xer typical outfit is a black top with a fishnet section over their cleavage, a black double-slit maxi skirt, and black combat boots.

Personality

Doctor is extremely outgoing and confident. They're known to be friends with just about everybody, but the people who dislike them, really hate them. Xe's well-educated on many subjects, like robotics, biology, and anything sex related. As friendly as they are, Doc is known to be blunt and sort of oblivious. Despite their love of flirting, xe has a hard time realizing when others are flirting, and will just ask directly if people want to have sex with them. When adventuring, Doc can get pretty reckless, getting themself into dangerous situations without a plan. They always make it out in one piece and never learn their lesson.

Abilities

The most notably robotic part of Doc is their hands, but a majority of their body is synthetic. Doc is much stronger than they look, unnaturally so, with all of that strength coming from their cybernetic enhancements rather than natural muscle. This is incredibly useful as it catches xer opponents off-guard. Xer whole skeleton, up to xer neck, is reinforced with metal, helping with xer durability and strength. Doc's hair is also synthetic and semi-prehensile. The hair isn't strong or coordinated enough to pick up anything, but it can purposefully brush against or wrap around things. Rather than eat, Doctor gets energy from charging, though xe can still eat things for fun, it just doesn't go anywhere. Doc is a trained dancer, they're very flexible, but their combat training is minimal. They've gotten good at punching and throwing people, but they don't know what to do with weapons. If possible, Doctor will get through conflicts non-violently.

Doc considers themself a full-time adventurer and researcher, but those make them very little money. They do lots of other jobs in their freetime. Some of Doc's jobs include:

Ironically, the one job Doc does not have is as an actual doctor. They keep asking the hospital to hire them, but their doctorate is in robotics, not medicine. They're also, despite what some people assume, not a prostitute. They have all that sex because they want to and will actively refuse payment for it.

History

Doc designed and built xer claw hands xerself. Xe had to install them one at a time. Xe also likely installed the clear sections xerself.

• Despite their enjoyment of presenting femininely, Doctor does not identify as a woman. It's more of a drag thing for them, but all the time. They're agender.
• Doc's translucent sections showing their wires and bones are inspired by the clear tech trend^↗ in the 80s to early 2000s.
