Profile

Yellow's fullbody reference.

Appearance

Yellow is a humanoid ghost with solid yellow glasses. She has tan skin and smooth brown hair that gets lighter at the ends. Her bangs cover her right eye and she has numerous scars, including one across her left cheek and a few on the backs of her forearms. Yellow looks basically human, except for her long pointed ears. Unlike the other's solid-colored eyes, Yellow's left eye seems completely normal. She keeps both eyes hidden behind her glasses. She wears a beige sweater, a long yellow skirt, white stockings, and yellow flats. She also has a gold ring on her left hand.

Personality

Yellow is driven by her logic. While she thinks of all her decisions as the clear and smart choice, they aren't always correct. She comes off as cold or bossy, but she always has her reasons. Yellow has a craving to understand things, to ask questions and solve mysteries. She takes her investigations very seriously.

Abilities

Yellow doesn't do much action-wise, but she contributes helpful knowledge and reasoning skills that the rest of the group lacks. As a ghost, she's also learned how to summon objects from Grey. She mostly uses this to create stationary for keeping notes. Yellow is the only one who expresses any ability to read and write.

When controlling the body, she doesn't have any of those fancy summoning powers, so no notetaking in the real world. The ears stay upright, but do move somewhat, matching the limited movement she has with her elf ears. She keeps the tail low and rarely moves it, as she isn't familiar with it and sees no reason to learn. Interestingly, some of Yellow's eyesight does transfer to the body, slightly increasing their ability to see. Still not enough to read, sadly.

History

Yellow and Grey, shortly after Yellow's arrival.

Life

As fragments, the sages remember little of their lives. Yellow actively remembers the least, but she puts a lot of effort into deducing her past through her involuntary behavior. She estimates she's from the 1940s to 1960s, and lived in North America somewhere colder, possibly Canada. Her wedding ring suggests she was wed, though she remembers nothing of her spouse. Yellow's demeanor and knowledge clearly mark her as the scholarly type, yet she finds herself stumped by all the scars. What kind of dangerous accident or lifestyle could she have had?

Yellow died to a gunshot through the back of her head and out somewhere around her right eye. She died instantly. She remembers nothing of the situation, despite how hard she tries to.

Afterlife

Yellow was the second to show up, a calm and anticipated arrival, especially following Red's. While she was very dazed at first, she's dedicated her afterlife to piecing together as much as she can about her previous life and this new one. Yellow spends a lot of time reading the books she's learned to summon, which pull information from her own or one of the others' knowledge. They're not like real published books.

Relationships

Sage

Yellow is often frustrated with the fact that Sage is in charge purely by chance, because she believes she'd do a much better job at running this situation. Sadly, Yellow has to be content with acting as advisor, to a leader who only listens to her about half the time. The two are certainly not friends, or familiar in any way, but they cooperate.

Red

Red and Yellow are constantly butting heads. If one of them says anything, the other will come up with something against it. Yellow finds Red to be crude and overly simple, and will disagree with Red purely on the stance that Red is an idiot, though Red's stupdity mostly comes from the "being from the olden days" thing. If only Red would cooperate and let Yellow educate her on modern times. Yellow's hatred of Red's violent tendancies is pretty hypocrytical too.

Grey

Of all the sages, Yellow considers Grey the most bearable. She's at least quieter than all the others. Yellow is fully aware Grey knows the most of anyone there, and will frequently grill Grey for answers to how all this ghost stuff works. Grey gives the best answers she can, but it never satisfies Yellow anyways.

Blue

Yellow has asked Grey a million times how a robot ghost works, and is never satisfied with the answer. Yellow has a hard time recognizing Blue as a "person", often treating them more as an annoyance or a puzzle. If she isn't trying to figure out how they work or stop them from messing around, she's ignoring them.
