Heavel Astear is a gold-blood fantroll based on The Star↗ and The Tower↗ tarot cards. Here is their Homestuck-style 2nd-person introduction:
"Your name is HEAVEL ASTEAR. Your pronouns are THEY/THEM.
"You gave up on having a cohesive AESTHETIC sweeps ago, and have settled on just wearing all the SPIKES and RIPPED CLOTHING you want. Most of your iconic LOOK is just COLLATERAL DAMAGE from your PSIONICS, like how you keep CRACKING your COOL SHADES. Luckily, it all goes well with your ANTI-ESTABLISHMENT mentality. Your main interest is PLOTTING TO TEAR DOWN THE HIGHBLOODS, though this has tested many of your FRIENDSHIPS. Not that you NEED friends, you’re FINE only associating with your matesprit. You’ve also dabbled in DIVINATION, but it always seems to be BAD NEWS when you’re involved.

Profile
Appearance
Heavel is a light gray skinned troll with a large branching scar around their left eye. Their hair is chin-length and spikey, with bangs between their horns and framing their face. The hair around their face has streaks of white and yellow. Klipsi has two pairs of horns, a small set curled inwards and a larger set shaped like lightning bolts. Their ears are pointed and have numerous black piercings.
Heavel's iconic accessory is their star-shaped sunglasses, usually cracked from her psionics. Heavel typically wears a yellow long-sleeved wrap shirt, with black accents and their sign on their right side. They also wear a black skirt with heavily damaged edges, fishnet stockings, black and yellow sneakers, and a black spiked collar.

Abilities
Heavel has extremely strong psionics, though they go to great extremes to keep this a secret to avoid getting put to use by the Empire. They do mostly rely on their psionics or Klipsi for protection, and are physically pretty weak.
Other Info
Heavel had a wasp-like lusus, but she died when they were younger. Their hive is in the lowblood neighborhood near Falool and Klipsi.

Design Process
"Heavel" is derived from "upheaval", a sudden agitation or change, physically or politically. "Astear" is a combination of aster, Greek for "star", and tear. Heavel's symbol is a star with a lightning-shaped slice through it, combining symbolism from both their cards. The Tower card has a strong reputation as a bad omen, which combines strangely with The Star's representation of hope and bright futures. The replacement of b's with 13 is a referece to their terrible luck.
