Anuran minecraft skin

Appearance

Dr. Anuran is a human with frog-like mutations. They have red eyes with horizontal pupils and a long red tongue. Their skin has a greenish tint, with the tips of their fingers being red. Their hair, naturally teal with green accents, is chin length with bangs over their right eye. They have long green ears that stick straight out from the sides of their head.

Anuran typically wears a black dress shirt, high-waisted teal pants, and their company-issued lab coat. They also always have a pair of black safety goggles with green lenses, typically worn atop their head. Anuran's specially-designed belt carries their lab equipment, usually syringes of strange fluids.

Personality

Dr. Anuran is a very good liar, certainly better than LEDD. While they lack LEDD's patience, Anuran is much better at getting what they want out of people, either by subtle manipulation or direct threats. When around other's, Anuran maintains a calm froggy smile. When doing an experiment, the smile can get a little more crazed as they get excited. When not up to something, their resting expression is bored or mildly annoyed. Anuran tends to follow ethical regulations very loosely, prefering to do things however they need to get things done. At least they wear the proper PPE nowadays.

Abilities

Dr. Anuran specializes in genetic mutation and modification, though they're knowledgable in a wide range of topics. They're known to carry around syringes of fluid, some with dangerous chemicals, others with harmless energy drinks. They've absolutely gotten them mixed up before.

Dr. Anuran's frog mutations haven't heavily impacted their life. They got an extra long tongue and slightly sticky hands out of it. Anuran also glows green very faintly, but it's unclear if that's from the frog experiment or something else.

History

Back when Anuran and Raddle were research partners, the two were conducting an experiment involving various frogs. Something went wrong and both got their DNA mixed with their frog subjects, causing their frog-like mutations. Each believed the other to be resposible for the accident, and they went seperate ways. Sometime afterwards, Dr. Anuran was asked to assist with a new company being formed, LEDD Laboratories, lead by a strange alien creature. Anuran saw the potential of the project, and the ambiguous legality, and agreed. It was only after the irreversable hiring progress that Anuran found out their former partner Raddle was also hired. Anuran worked their way up to head scientist very quickly, allowing them to conduct whatever experiments they want in the safety of the lab. All they have to worry about it LEDD.

Relationships

LEDD

Anuran isn't entirely fond of the fact that a giant fish has more authority than them, when they're the one with the PhDs. The two often disagree on how to handle testing activities, each usually opting to do things behind the other's back. How Anuran hasn't been fired is a mystery often debated in the breakroom.

The Dark

The Dark is fully aware of Dr. Anuran's questionable actions and has none of LEDD's reservations for direct action. Anuran has learned to stear clear of The Dark to avoid getting chased down by the lab's resident pest.

Dr. Raddle

Anuran and Raddle used to be research partners at a different lab, before the frog accident. Now, the two refuse to speak to one another. Anuran being Raddle's boss does make this difficult.

Astaroth

Dr. Anuran spends a lot of time in Astaroth's room. The doctor seems to have a particular interest in demon biology, not that Astaroth can provide much in the way of physical samples. They don't exactly consider each other friends, but they're well-acquainted.
