Vi5 "Viroid""Viroid" is a security bot, with a focus in digital security. The bot is well-trained for social interaction, with a strong personality and clear intelligence. They're equipped with hardware similar to those used by hackers, allowing them to access nearby technology with ease. This model also has features primarily for self-defense, such as electrodes built into the hands for administering shocks, a method effective against both humans and other bots. This extremely new model is still being slowly rolled out, and has no official blueprint. A temporary blueprint has been provided by Xi01.

Xiphoid HairThe Xiphoid model’s “hair” consists of 7 fully prehensile “strands”, functioning as additional limbs. These limbs are made up of metal segments, similar to the basic limb design, but are fully coated in a soft rubber to allow for better grip. Each strand has a minimum length of 3ft and a maximum of 10ft, able to extend from and partially retract into the head cavity. While not having the precision of hands, they do have more reach and strength, and are able to hold and retrieve items while a Xiphoid’s hands are busy. For added efficiency, the strands collectively run on a separate processor than the rest of the bot’s functions. This prevents the numerous extra limbs from slowing down the model’s other processes. While a Xiphoid may seem to have control over them, they actually run on their own basic AI and simply respond to commands made by the central AI. In this way, the hair can also be thought of as a built-in assistant. Disobedience is rarely observed in AI this simple, but glitches have been known to occur when the original programming is tampered with. Caution is advised when modifying Xiphoid hair, as well as with the Xiphoid model in general.
